Ever have water come into your shelter from a guy line?  In the middle closer to the tree knot a stick in the line to your tent.  When the rain hits the line and creeps down toward your shelter, it will hit this stick and drip downward off the string, keeping you dry and sleeping...

These are essential for hammock rigs. even on the poncho or tarp overhead line. anytime i have a line running down i use them. the paracord knots work great.

drip rig drip loop all the same.  i believe you can use a zip tie as well.. might be easier than trying to tie a stick into a tight line

i only usually carry a few things when im out, but i adopted zip ties as well.. deffinately worth their weight.  i say try it as a drip stick because its also adjustable and you also dont have to worry about digging a super tight knot out of the line  Smiley
