We recently got alot of heavy heavy rain and snails are everywhere! I was wondering if they were edible and if so what would be best way to prepare them? Any advice would be great! Thanks

I know the UK guys can pick them right out of the back yard and eat there's. I guess that doesn't mean much to us haha.

I've wondered the same thing about banana slugs?  There are bundles of these fat slimy guys and i wonder if they edible?

Slugs excrete a poison or irratents of the plants they consume. I would say that if you find them in a large area of non poisonous plants you will be okay. I have read that they can cause numbing of the mouth but did not find any deaths caused by snail ingestion. Romans used to keep them in a container of herbs for several days ocassionally soaking with wine.
