Hey Gang,

I decided that i will buy Butane stove but with all the models out there it can be confusing.
I want a good one I like high quality gear and i thought on the MSR Windpro:
http://www.msrgear.com/stoves/windpro.asp

What do you think on this stove?
Is there more product that might it worth to check?
What's your choice?

Thanks

Sigh.....

I am anti-stove. I've stepped on some feet at other survival forums on this same issue. I just believe that there is enough fuel lying on the ground that there is no need to carry any in a pack. With a little know-how, a dakota stove will work wonders in a situation where a fire is normally a no-go. If I was in an area where there was stove restrictions, I would use one of the wood stoves you posted about here:

There are some Ti versions, mostly made in the UK, that are available if weight is an issue.

I have all types except for butane style. Just want to try it out. I agree the wood burning stoves are ideal. I have a number of hobo setups my favorite is quickly becoming the folding one that is in the campfiretalks store. http://astore.amazon.com/wwwcampfireta-20/detail/B000HR95NO

I am wanting to try a butane fuel stove so if natural fuel may not be available. Also I want to really see if they merit the money they are tagged with.
