Hey Gang,

We are moving some of the lurking around out the door. If you have been a Virgin for more than 60 days and still not contributed something to the community we have to Clean up.  Thanks for being a fan but We All want a Community of participants.

ya know im glad to see that if someone just wants to look around  and not really say anything that they will be deleted. maybe all those folks that have purchased a knife or something in the past should send them back for a refund after all they  arent important if they havent payed to play.
your making me  think i should have ordered my knife someplace else. i think its the lurking and watching that eventually gets you the loyalty. People want to see that your not going any where and that your in it for the long term. just my 2cents.

I can appreciate your concern but the forum is also a community. The Products are completely separate. I want to ensure that we do house cleaning. There are guys that haven't been around in while and those that have been around forever and never done anything.

I want the numbers to be accurate in what we do. If you want to buy somewhere else you certainly can, but don't use our house cleaning on forum to be the reason. Lurking doesn't build loyalty but working together certainly does. I have a number of guys that are extremely close confidants that haven't bought a thing from me. But they are committed to the vision of building this site or creating a common ground for everyone to grow and contribute. Otherwise it would just be Socialistic site like what they are trying to turn our Government into. You know everyone gets the same, no matter if they work or not. We have had the site up for a year and half now. We aren't leaving.

Sorry you don't like the policy but it costs money to host a site and moderate it. If guys are simply taking and not contributing then they need to move on. They can take us for test drive but if they are not going to play then what's the purpose?

We have some great guys in here with a huge knowledge base. I just want guys to stop holdin back and start teaching or asking questions. No one here will beat you down for asking.

I have tlaked with a number of guys here and they span the globe. I get the long distance bills. We have worked with guys going through family loss, cancer, PTSD, etc... Our community here is more than simply a sales vehicle for Red Scorpion Six. It was intended to be a community that guys will not have to worry about the shit that goes on other places and freedoms to express your opinions without getting banned.

Read in here. We have some fans and not so much.

But I have a bunch of friends too. That's what we are trying to foster more than anything else.

im 1 of those people that just doesnt have enough time in the day to visit and post to sites often, try to unplug from the system and get away from technology. just think that if i dont post and i have purchased your product i should be able to see all of the posts.  again just my 2 cents, there are a lot of sites out there, but its nice to come to a site that made the product you own and talk to others who share your interest in knives and skills etc.  ok soap box is going back under  the computer monitor tired of looking down to type.

Hey Gang,

Here is what we put in place. If you do not Log In within a 21 day period we send out an email. IF the user does not log in within another 21 DAYS the user is sent another email reminder and notice they have 21 days until their account is deleted and removed from the forum.

I think that is a fair and reasonable amount of time.

We are coding something similar on postings made or NOT made that will have similar results.
We may grow or we may get thin. Either way we will have a solid core group. Which is fine with me. I hope everyone agrees and participates and stays in the program.

Hey Gang,

I have received some emails about membership dropping. Membership is actually growing. The steps I put in to remove the Inactive Members are in place and deleting anyone who has not logged on in 90 days. I want the numbers of our forum to reflect properly. So no there is no mass exodus it is simply HOUSE CLEANING.

Thanks for your concern but nothing to be alarmed about. We are making great strides. We have had Our first ever GATHERING in October. It went so well we all agreed to have another in November. We will be planning more activities as well.
